That victory was Madrid’s 104th victory in LaLiga which is a record in the league. Madrid are on top of the league with 71 points, they have a 100% record since the league resumed and are favourites to win the league which has eluded them since 2016

Celta Vigo 2-2 Barçelona

Barca’s hope of retaining the laliga title was fractured after they dropped points at the Balaidos where they haven’t won since 2015. The home team on a sunny Saturday afternoon came back twice in the game to settle for a 2-2 draw. Luis Suarez scored twice in the 20th and 67th minute before Smolov leveled things up in the 50th minute. Iagos Aspas scored a sublime freekick to tie the game at 2-2. A devastating counter attack in the 95th minute left Nolito alone against an almost empty post but Ter Stegen once again put up a magnificent save to deny the home team a deserved 3 points.
